Monday, yeah.

Me Judy has been trying to get to put my emotions on paper, for about 2 years now.
So here I go.

This one's entitled: “Oops, may I get my 2B pencil back. Please”.

Friday dreaming and scheming

So I have a wedding of one of the bestie's coming up the 1st week end of November. I was over the moon when I read the dress code is VINTAGE FORMAL. The most favorite dress code of this bearded lady.
Being a vintage girl I have a rather large collection of vintage  from hand stitched 1940's to crimplene 60 large print dresses - so outfit choice should be easy right? Well sadly no.
All the vino imbibing (most of it with R.Brown) has left me far from a flat tomboyish tum & peach tight arse. So back to the wardrobe drawing board. Do I make something up? Or do I buy? A lengthy Google search for vintage Chanel, then Dior, Westwood, De La Renta, (you get the general idea) the decision is to perhaps buy a rare vintage dress.
Every time I think I've whittle down the choices, enter a few  more...
Choice will have to be made according to wallet.

DIe Antwoord's latest vid: Evil Boy

Fabulous production.
Die Antwoord is doing us proud on the international scene. Yolandi Visser was asked to be the skinny-arsed-bitch Slander character in the movie version of "Girl with a Dragon tattoo", which she turned down - I guess it wasn't zef enough.

More Miso works: Tchusse

Love this installation piece.

Pedo Religion...

I saw this sign on the way home. Had to double back to get a shot of it. How much did Jesus love the children?

Oliver Tambo

Oliver Tambo is a South African icon. Someone who's life inspired millions. And now we can add a fashion inspiration...he is my new gog inspiration. He really knew how to rock a pair of gogs!
Maybe I'll find my frames now if I ask for Oliver Tambo looking frames...

Dear Wish list please would you send me this book?

I have a very extensive wish list on www.loot.co.za.
It's a South African site with really great books at VERY reasonable prices. And they send you mails whenever their is a price change on anything on your Wish List. I like this feature of this site, but sometimes it acts as a annoying reminder of what I can't afford, yet. Sigh.

This book features the works of: Abbas, Reza Aramesh, Shirin Neshat, Parastou Forouhar, Abbas Kiarostami, Kaveh Golestan, Amirali Ghasemi, and Shadi Ghadirian.
